About me

I’ve been working as UCISA Executive Secretary since May 2005. UCISA is the professional body for IT staff in higher and further education institutions – most of the higher education institutions are members along with around 10 further education institutions. My role is to act as the link between the community and external bodies such as Government departments, the JISC, and statutory bodies such as HESA and UCAS.

My aim in publishing this blog is to try to keep the community up to date with what I am doing on their behalf and to share my thoughts on some of the IT/education issues.
